As the All Women’s Lobby Association, we added a new activity to our initiatives aimed at preserving cultural heritage, raising social awareness, and strengthening social bonds among our members. Within this scope, we organized a special museum visit and tea-time event at Merik Mansion (Altın Köşk), renowned for its historical texture and architectural value.

A Historical Treasure: Merik Mansion (Golden Pavilion)

Merik Mansion stands as an important cultural heritage site, with its architectural structure spanning from the past to the present, details reflecting the lifestyle of its era, and a preserved atmosphere transformed into a museum. Today, as a museum, the mansion welcomes visitors, offering insights into traditional mansion life while shedding light on the history of its region. During our event, participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive information from museum officials about the mansion’s history, architectural features, and the exhibits on display. This informative visit proved to be highly valuable in exploring our cultural heritage and establishing a connection with the past.

Culture, Sharing, and Social Interaction

Following the museum tour, our tea-time event provided a warm and friendly environment where members could enjoy pleasant conversations and exchange ideas. Coming together in a historic setting to experience both a cultural and social activity was one of the most valuable aspects of our event.

As the All Women’s Lobby Association, we continue to organize activities that support women’s active participation in social life, raise cultural awareness, and strengthen solidarity. The Merik Mansion museum visit has become a meaningful part of this vision and holds a special place among our activities.
